We have some great opportunities for you to get involved in the MCHBA. Read through the committee descriptions, and then give the committee chairperson a call. We welcome your time and expertise. In return, you’ll have a lot of fun, work hard, make a difference in the Association, and meet some great people!
- Build PAC - Mike Check (920) 732-3679
- Organizes the PAC Auction in August, arranging for most of the donations and running the auction. This committee works with the Governmental Affairs Committee on the Auction.
- Building Committee - Brandon Bartow (920) 682-7100
- This committee will work on building design and fund raising.
- Education - Mark Pekarske (920) 775-3987
- Schedules speakers for general membership meetings and provides educational opportunities and safety-related information for members. Scholarships are also part of this committee’s responsibilities. The golf outing is coordinated through this committee.
- Governmental Affairs - Jim Reif (920) 684-6899
- Monitors local, state, and national elections, issues and legislation and recommends to the Board of Directors the position the Association should take. This committee helps manage the annual Auction fundraiser for Build PAC.
- Home Show - Karen Schweigl (920) 682-8091
- Organizes and implements the annual Home Show in March. This committee works out the budget for the show and reports on it to the finance committee.
- Membership Committee - Brandon Bartow (920) 682-7100
- Promotes membership growth, retention, and recruitment.
- Parade of Homes - Becky Radue (920) 208-2199/Beth Pohl (920) 794-1123
- Organizes and plans the annual Parade of Homes in June. The committee is made up of the builders and associate members who are participating in the Parade.
- Public Relations - Mike Check (920) 732-3679
- Develops a PR program to enhance the positive image of the association to members and the public. They identify community service projects and other committee activities that need to be publicized.
- Remodelors Council - Don Orth (920) 775-9323
- This council is for anyone involved in remodeling. They belong to the NAHB and WBA Remodelors Councils. Locally this committee looks for ways to enhance and educate remodelors.

- Arranges speakers and advertisers for the 12 programs on WOMT.
